This Is Definitely How Dice Work
Roll 3d6 for damage!
In a perfectly normal and absolutely physically accurate simulation of dice rolling, move your red cube across the faces of the dice to lock in a high number. But the clock is ticking...
Supported controls:
- Mouse: only works in menus to click buttons
- Keyboard: WASD/Arrow keys to move, Enter to select, Esc to pause
- Xbox-style Gamepad: Left stick to move, A to select, Start to pause
- Don't press Space (see Known Bugs)
How to play:
- You'll start on the 1 face.
- Move around the dice to find the 2 face.
- There will be a blue circle in the middle of the 2 face. Stay in the circle for 3 seconds to capture that side!
- The next face to capture will be 3, and so on through 6.
- The positions of the faces are randomized each time you roll, so you'll have to keep track of where they are.
- Keep an eye on the clock, and watch out for surprises...
More thoughts:
This doesn't seem like a full game on its own, but I could easily see it as a minigame in a larger RPG.
Known bugs:
- Pressing Space causes the dice to immediately flip. This can sometimes cause the alignment of the dice and player to break.
- It's possible to break out of bounds and misalign the dice if you try to cross over at the very corner.
